I am so looking forward to the 2012 Celtic Colours Festival. This is my first year volunteering with Celtic Colours. I wish everyone involved the best of luck in making the festival have another successful year.

Being a driver for Celtic Colours like other volunteers is a greattttt experience. Meeting wonderful people from far and near is a joy. So greatful to have the chance to do it.

With the exception of a few of the newer drivers, we all know Phill MacIntyre from Maine. He has done so much to show his appreciation of Celtic Colours and especially the drivers. Here is another story concerning him.
I organize a ski trip for a group of 35 or so friends each year and this year we are going to Sugarloaf in northern Maine. Mike and Ann Frances Gillis (site managers) told him of our ski trip, and after a conversation with me, he told me that our big motor coach would not easily make it to his SKYE THEATRE near Dixfield. But he has a friend who runs one of the pubs at Sugarloaf and he is now arranging to have a party with some Celtic entertainment for us at the RACK on one of our evenings at the mountain.
As often happens, Celtic Colours extends its magic well beyond the nine days of the festival.
A hearty “Thank You” to Phill for doing this for a group of skiers from Dave, Mickey, Mike & Ann Frances.
